Southwestern “Chicken” Strips

This is a great recipe for a chicken replacement on tacos or plant based quesadillas.

Ingredients

  • In a large bowl (preferably with a lid) empty the bag of Butler Soy Curls
  • In a medium mixing bowl add Better Than Bouillon roasted Garlic or Veggie Base, Apple Cider vinegar, liquid smoke and whisk until thoroughly mixed
  • Add your water to the Better Than Bouillon mixture whisk together then pour over your Butler Soy Curls
  • Let marinate for 10 minutes with lid on shaking occasionally
  • Heat a large pan
  • Add Soy Curls and liquid in bottom to your pan
  • Dump your taco seasoning on top
  • Cook until there is no liquid on bottom or desired texture. These will get closer and closer to chicken strips in texture the less moisture left in them.
